|Pink Punch, Petal Rebel, Sweet Tart|
L'Oreal Infallible Eyeshadows in Amber Rush & Bronzed Taupe: These little babies are pretty darn amazing. For drugstore eyeshadows, they deliver phenomenally. The texture is pretty unique; it's kind of between a powder and cream shadow which means you need a brush with dense bristles to pick up the pigment. I actually found they applied best with a sponge (I think that's what it's called?) eyeshadow applicator. Amber Rush is a pretty gold bronze with orange undertones; bronzed taupe is a dark bronzey brown.
Sinful Colors in Pink Forever: I've heard mixed reviews on the Sinful Colors range so I figured it was time I gave them a try myself. I would say for the price, these polishes are a steal. This is a cream finish and while I wouldn't say it's the shiniest finish out there, for $2, you really can't complain. It was opaque in 2 coats and not goopy or streaky. I'll definitely be trying out a few others from their range.
Maybelline Baby Lips in Quenched & Pink Punch: I didn't bother swatching Quenched as it's just a clear lip balm. I find it to be super hydrating and it smells sweet, kind of like Fruity Pebbles. Pink Punch has a slight blue-toned pink tinge with the same hydrating formula as Quenched.
Maybelline Color Whisper in Petal Rebel: This is similar to Pink Punch but not quite as blue toned; I'd also say it's slightly more pigmented. The formula is more gel like than a cream lip balm but still very moisturizing.
Revlon Lip Butter in Sweet Tart: Lastly, I picked up another lip butter. I love these. They're like right in the middle of a lipstick and lip balm; they're super moisturizing but with great pigmentation. Sweet Tart is a bright coral-y pink.
These are all my drugstore makeup purchases! Throughout the week I'll upload the other 3 parts of my haul: hair/skincare, high end makeup, and clothes.
